Bondi Beach gunman named by Australian media

SYDNEY, Australia — One of the gunmen suspected of shooting and killing 15 people at a Jewish festival on Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach has been named in local media as a man from the city’s southeast. The alleged assailant was Naveed Akram from the Sydney suburb of Bonnyrigg, Australian public broadcaster ABC said, quoting an official speaking on condition of anonymity.
