Pakistan condemns attack on UN peacekeepers in Sudan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the deadly attack on the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) in Kadugli, Sudan, which claimed the lives of six Bangladeshi peacekeepers and left several others injured. In a statement on Sunday, the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the United Nations paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, honoring their supreme sacrifice in the service of global peace, and expressed its deepest condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh. The Mission denounced the attack as a heinous act that constitutes a war crime, underscoring the urgent need for the perpetrators to be identified and brought to justice.
