At 5:30 am, visibility at Palam was around 100 metres since 4:30 am but decreased further to 50 metres due to thick fog, with westerly winds blowing at 5-7 kmph. Both Safdarjung and Palam in Delhi reported visibility of 50 metres, while Hindon in west Uttar Pradesh recorded zero visibility.
