No Filipino casualties in Bondi Beach shooting

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Sydney on Monday said there were "no indications" that Filipinos were among those killed or injured during a shooting incident on Bondi beach. The PCG said it got its information from the New South Wales Police Protection Operations Unit. In a statement on Facebook, the consulate urged the Filipino community "to remain vigilant and to follow the guidance of New South Wales Police and emergency services." It also conveyed its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, to all who were injured, and to the communities affected by the terror attack in Bondi during a Hannukah community event on Dec. 14.
