Dizon names new DPWH engineers in Bulacan's 'most nortorious' office

MANILA, Philippines — Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon on Monday named the new set of public works officials who would take over the controversial DPWH Bulacan 1st Engineering Office (DEO), dubbed the "most notorious" when it came to ghost and anomalous projects Dizon issued assigned Engineers Kenneth Edward T. Fernando and Pagul Genar S.J. Lumabas as district engineer and assistant district engineer of Bulacan 1st DEO, replacing dismissed Engineer Henry Alcantara and his assistant Brice Hernandez At the same time, Dizon also named retired Army Gen. Rommel Tello as regional director of DPWH Central Luzon. Dizon said  the province of Bulacan was the "most notorious" when it came to ghost and anomalous projects, particularly in the DPWH-Bulacan First Engineering Office. Dizon went to Malolos to meet with the new officials of the province's first DEO and to inspect the anomalous projects in the district.
