The Executive Secretary of Africa Education Watch (Eduwatch), Kofi Asare, has criticised Ghana’s failure to fully enforce compulsory basic education, arguing that persistent policy hesitation is contributing to rising truancy and school dropouts, particularly in parts of northern Ghana.
