A Gujarati singer, Kinjal Dave, and her family have been expelled by the Panch Pargana Audichya Brahma Samaj for her intercaste engagement. The community cited protecting girls as the reason for the lifelong boycott, which will be enforced across over 200 villages. Dave has vowed legal action against those opposing her family.
