China has upgraded its Type 99B high-altitude light battle tank with enhanced command, communication, and firepower. This development follows India's unveiling of its indigenous 25-tonne Zorawar light tank, designed for high-altitude mountain warfare, particularly along the China border. The heavier Chinese tank, weighing approximately 55 tonnes, is a third-generation main battle tank.
