"We continue the celebration of knowledge, art, and innovation," declared Adanna Ifeoma Egwuatu, founder of the Africa Hair Summit. "Each experience tonight has been curated to inspire you, elevate your craft, and affirm the dignity and beauty of African hair." Some models believe the event is an opportunity to spotlight the continent's elegance and creative expression. "This is all about Afro, hair culture, and beauty. It is how we will showcase the cultural attire and our hairstyles," said competition winner Joe Efiyemi. "African, already, has been blessed with beauty from its origins. It all started with afro and the rest - I sincerely love afro," added model Favour Mieyaseigha.
