Pawsome fun! - Delhi’s pets shine at India’s biggest carnival of paws and claws!

"The spotlight shone brightly on New Delhi’s four-legged residents over the weekend, as the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in Okhla transformed into a dazzling wonderland of colour, wagging tails, and joyful barks for Pet Fed 2025. Footage captured on Sunday revealed India’s largest pet festival, brimming with elaborately decorated stalls, rainbow-hued bandanas, and the exuberant energy of thousands of pets. "The experience is very wonderful, it's so heartwarming to see so many pet parents coming out with different kinds of pets. […] We are hoping to see about 20-25,000 pet parents and about 4000 pets over the two days," said Akshay Gupta, founder of Pet Fed. Animal lovers shared their delight at the festival, which offered a rare platform for pets to interact freely while giving owners a chance to socialise and build new connections. "It's a blessing to have a pet as well. And the difference this year is the interaction with the different pets as well. And I found very unique pets over here. And it's a great way to interact, to meet for the owners, as well as for the pets," said pet owner Siddharth Sharma. "It's a great experience that they have organised this event, for dogs, because there is no place to take all these dogs. They are meeting new people, new dogs. So it's a very nice initiative," added visitor Arshitha Chawla. The festival, which holds the Limca World Record for being the 'Biggest Dog Carnival' in India, features over 100 stalls, offering an array of pet products, accessories, food, and bespoke grooming services. The spirit of the event radiated through adoption drives and an inclusive celebration of every pet, providing free entry for indie dogs. The festival also boasted an interactive experience, with various fun activities, pet fashion showcases, expert talks, and countless action-packed and photo-ready moments. Pet Fed, marking its 11th edition this year, is a multi-city event that kicked off in Pune in November and concluded in New Delhi on Sunday, with upcoming stops in Bengaluru and Mumbai scheduled for January and March next year."
