In 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Tajikistan reached 173 billion somonis, with an economic growth rate of 8.4%. This was announced by President Emomali Rahmon in his address to a joint meeting of both chambers of the Tajik parliament on December 16. The president emphasized that the target for 2026 is to ensure economic growth of at least 8%.
