The BJP has accused the Congress of spreading false information regarding the National Herald case. A trial court did not take cognizance of a private complaint but allowed the Enforcement Directorate to continue its investigation. The case remains pending trial in the Delhi High Court. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are still listed as accused.
