A Tamale Circuit Court has remanded three men into prison custody for their alleged roles in a recent kidnapping incident near Wapuli in the Northern Region. The suspects — Haruna Seidu, Amidu Bandi, and Osman Bandi — appeared before the court on preliminary charges of kidnapping and conspiracy. Prosecutors told the court that the three were arrested through intelligence-led operations following the abduction of a 42-year-old victim at Tindugu, near Yankazia and Wapuli in the Saboba District, on December 2, 2025. They said investigations are still ongoing, with key exhibits and witness statements yet to be finalised.
