SEA Games 2025: Alas women lose to Thais ahead of gold medal duel

MANILA, Philippines — In a gold medal match preview, Alas Pilipinas women’s beach volleyball team fell to Thailand in two games in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday at Jomtien Beach in Chonburi, Thailand. With both teams having already arranged a finals matchup after winning their first four games, the Thais dominated the no-bearing match to complete a five-match sweep of the preliminary round.
