MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Wednesday adopted House Concurrent Resolution 9 reconstituting the Philippine Congress-Bangsamoro Parliament Forum. The resolution stated that "to support the effective implementation of Republic Act No. 11054, there is an urgent need to establish and convene the Philippine Congress-Bangsamoro Parliament Forum." The law is the Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Under the resolution, the House shall form a five-member panel that would represent it in the forum. Members of the House minority bloc shall have at least two seats. The Senate adopted a similar resolution last Nov. 13.
