MANILA, Philippines — Two mobile command centers are set to be deployed in the country’s two major expressways—North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEx)—during the holiday season, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced on Wednesday. In a press conference on Wednesday, LTO chief Markus Lacanilao said the mobile command centers will serve as a monitoring system that aims to secure the safety of passengers and provide immediate responses to road incidents, such as road crashes and road rage.
