The House of Representatives began the consideration of the reports on the Electoral bill, with the adoption of proposal of 10 years imprisonment instead of 3 years imprisonment initially recommended for a presiding officer or collation officer who fails to stamp and sign a ballot paper result sheet announced by them without lawful reason, as provided in Clause 73(3).
