At 3 p.m. EST on Wednesday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid from Thursday 1 p.m. EST until Friday 7 a.m. EST for Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Houghton, Baraga, Marquette and Gogebic counties.
