Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia received a rapturous reception from New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful in his hometown, the Walewale Constituency, on Wednesday afternoon as part of his national campaign tour. In a remarkable show of support, party members and supporters who packed the auditorium where Dr. Bawumia was scheduled to address them declined to be formally campaigned to, insisting they had already made up their minds to give him a resounding victory in January’s NPP presidential primaries.
