Bibigo joins 'Culinary Class Wars' Season 2

Major food company CJ CheilJedang has emerged as a key sponsor of the highly anticipated Netflix series "Culinary Class Wars" Season 2, supplying condiments for chefs competing on the cooking show. The company, which exports food products to 70 countries under its flagship Bibigo brand, specially prepared a pantry stocked with cooking ingredients bearing the Bibigo logo. The pantry was shown in the show’s first episode, which premiered Tuesday. Items provided include gochujang, or red pepper paste, doenjang, or fermented soybean paste, olive oil, kimchi, tofu, ham, instant steamed rice and a variety of sauces. The new season follows last year’s debut, which became a global hit. The first season topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 non-English TV list for three consecutive weeks last year from September to October, drawing worldwide attention to Korean cuisine, chefs and their restaurants.
