DSWD rolls out Project SAFE vs online sexual abuse of children

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has piloted Project SAFE in Iligan City to fight the online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC).  Project SAFE aims to enhance the prevention, protection, recovery, and safe reintegration of children who are victims of OSAEC, DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said during the launch on Wednesday.
