Konkuk University has announced its 2026 regular admissions plan, or Jeongsi, signaling it will admit 1,351 students across all tracks to reflect adjustments in recruitment groups, academic restructuring and test score evaluation methods. According to a Konkuk University official, a total of 1,208 students will be selected within the regular quota, with 416 admitted in Group A (Ga-gun), 566 in Group B (Na-gun) and 226 in Group C (Da-gun). An additional 143 students will be admitted outside the quota, including 64 through the Basic Livelihood and Near-Poverty track and 79 through the Rural Student track. One of the most notable changes this year involves shifts in recruitment groups. The Department of Media and Communication in the College of Liberal Arts, which previously admitted five students through Group C, will now recruit students in Group B. Meanwhile, the Division of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Division of Computer Science and Engineering in the College of Engineering, previously offered in Group A, will move to Group C for the 2026 admissions cycle.
