MANILA, Philippines — Over 70,000 candidates passed the Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) for elementary and secondary education, the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday. According to the PRC, 21,967 elementary teachers out of 43,035 examinees and 57,729 secondary teachers out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) successfully passed the LEPT.
