Finns Party MPs given serious warning over racist photos

Two Finnish members of parliament have received official reprimands after publishing images on social media widely considered offensive to people of Asian descent. Juho Eerola and Kaisa Garedew , both members of the Finns Party, posed in images where they pulled the outer corners of their eyes — a gesture internationally recognised as mocking East Asian facial features. The images triggered criticism domestically and abroad, including from embassies representing Japan, China and South Korea.
