"Santa Claus was spotted at the Rio de Janeiro aquarium on Thursday, where he dived into a giant tank to the delight of children and visitors, Thursday. Divers dressed as Mr and Ms Claus plunged into the largest tank of the aquarium to feed sharks and other fish, as visitors looked on. “It's a common thing. I've been doing it for 10 years. It started as a joke among our staff and divers.Today it has become a tradition here at the Aquarium,” said the diver Felipe Luna. Established in 2016, AquaRio covers an area of approximately 26,000 square metres (280,000 square feet) and houses more than 8,000 animals representing 350 different species in 28 tanks. The aquarium's primary goal is to provide an immersive and educational platform that showcases the rich biodiversity of marine life."
