According to the agency, the vehicles were provisionally attached under provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), as they are suspected to be proceeds of crime allegedly generated through illegal online betting and gambling activities. Officials alleged that Dwivedi earned large sums of money by promoting and maintaining links with multiple online gambling applications.
