Rains over parts of PH due to 3 weather systems

MANILA, Philippines — Three weather systems are forecast to bring rains over several parts of the country, the weather bureau said Saturday. In its early morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan. The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Davao Oriental will experience the same weather conditions due to the easterlies. Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will have rains due to the northeast monsoon, while the rest of Mindanao will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon and the Visayas while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
