Dubai authorities have implemented a series of precautionary and proactive measures to limit disruption and ensure public safety. These include enforcing safe driving guidelines to reduce traffic accidents, temporarily closing public parks and beaches and placing emergency response teams on standby around the clock. The UAE's National Center of Meteorology forecast that conditions will remain unstable throughout Friday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered cumulonimbus clouds moving across the country. Rainfall of varying intensity is expected to continue, along with lightning, thunder and hail in some areas."
