A Pakistani court has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to 17 years in jail each. The conviction is in the Toshakhana corruption case involving alleged fraud in state gifts. The couple received gifts from the Saudi government in 2021. They were found guilty of criminal breach of trust and corruption.
