Israeli forces storm West Bank town of al-Zawiya Israeli forces have stormed the occupied West Bank town of al-Zawiya, west of Salfit. At dawn on Saturday several military vehicles carried out raids on homes, warehouses and workshops, according to the Wafa News Agency. Several men were reportedly assaulted and detained by Israeli soldiers. Israeli forces also raided the house of the town's mayor, Amir Shuqair, and arrested his son, according to Wafa.
