Visitors flocked to Ttukseom Riverside Park along the Han River, where the Christmas Market's twinkling lights, festive stalls, and holiday-themed installations created a winter atmosphere. "I didn't know there was something like this at Ttukseom, but it was amazing. I really want to tell more people about it. I had such a great time here," said a visitor. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) was illuminated by the Seoul Winter Light DDP 2025 festival, where visitors took in the projections and a modern twist on Christmas imagery, including a trendy 'Hip Santa' showcased throughout the site. "I'm really excited to see how this one turns out, and it's my first time at DDP. Since the building is beautiful, I think it will be incredible," said a visitor. "It has been amazing. We haven't seen anything like this before. We've been to many countries around the world, and this is our first time seeing a show like this," added a tourist. The Han River Christmas Market and Seoul Light DDP are part of the city's broader 2025 Winter Festa seasonal programme aimed at boosting tourism and encouraging residents to enjoy outdoor cultural events during the holiday period.
