A seven-year-old girl was killed and three others critically injured when the house of BNP leader Belal Hossain in Lakshmipur Sadar was locked from the outside and set on fire. Belal and his two other daughters were badly burned and sent to Dhaka for treatment. The attack highlights a rising wave of violence and worsening law and order in Bangladesh.
