"Hundreds of motorcyclists took to the streets of Madrid on Saturday for the 2025 Biker Santa Run, an annual charity event delivering toys and donations to underprivileged children during the holiday season. Footage shows a convoy of motorcycles decorated for the holidays, with riders dressed as Santa Claus, making its way through the city, honking along the route. Participants included national and municipal police officers, civil guards, and even officers from the United States. "It is an absolute pleasure for us to not only enjoy this motorcycle route but also to contribute our grain of sand to these children from underprivileged families. Perhaps the only gift they receive this Christmas," said Manuel Moreno, representative for the International Police Association. "The funds they raise are for social activities. So, we gather here in Madrid on December 20 every year with many bikes to ride a route through the city and bring joy to all the children," added a participant. The 13th edition of the event, also known as Papanoelada Motera, was organised by the International Police Association (IPA). The best spots in central Madrid to enjoy the event are along Calle Alcala or Paseo de la Castellana, where the 'red wave' of motorcycles creates a spectacular sight."
