CNBC Permira, Warburg to buy investment and accounting software maker Clearwater Analytics for $8.4 billion
Clearwater agreed to be taken private for $24.55 a share cash, a premium of 47% on its share price of $16.69 on Nov. 10, before reports of a potential sale.
