Firefighters are battling a blaze in the basement of a heritage-listed six-level building in Auckland’s CBD.\ A Fire and Emergency shift manager said they were called at around 10.15am after reports that a fire had broken out. The footpath surrounding the Dilworth Building, at the bottom of Queen St, has now been cordoned off while firefighters work to put out the blaze. The building is used for both residential and commercial purposes. A fire has broken out in the basement of a six-level building in Auckland's CBD. The road has been blocked while emergency services are at the scene.
