LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in her message on World Basketball Day expressed her government’s commitment to promote basketball and other sports in the province. She said that sports play an important role in instilling teamwork, competition, discipline and endurance in youth. She highlighted that world-class sports complexes are being built in Punjab and players will be supported through an endowment fund.
