LUCENA CITY — After a week-long seismic calm, Taal Volcano in Batangas province showed renewed activity, recording five seismic events over the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Monday, December 22. In its morning bulletin, Phivolcs said it detected four volcanic earthquakes and one volcanic tremor that lasted about two minutes.
