VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan accused the Sangh Parivar of attempting to divide Tamil Nadu on communal lines over the Thirupparankundram lamp lighting issue. He claimed the RSS and Hindu organizations are trying to create conflict between Hindus and minorities to gain a foothold, asserting the DMK-led alliance will prevent communal hatred and urging public vigilance.
