House adopts resolution condoling with Acop’s bereaved family

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives has adopted House Resolution (HR) No. 601 extending the chamber’s condolences to the family of Antipolo Rep. Romeo Acop, after the lawmaker died of a heart attack on Saturday night. HR No. 601 was adopted via a voice vote during Monday’s session, after Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos moved for the consideration of the measure.
