Israeli forces kill four Palestinians in 48 hours, eight bodies recovered The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza on Monday said that during the past 48 hours, 12 Palestinians were reported dead by hospital authorities, as Israeli attacks continued despite the ceasefire. The ministry said that four new killings were recorded in the past 48 hours and eight dead bodies were recovered from under the rubble during the same period, bringing the total number of recovered bodies to 649. Many of the victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defence teams are unable to reach them, the ministry said in a statement on Telegram. Since the ceasefire on 10 October 2025, a total of 405 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces, while 1,115 others were reported wounded. A total of 70,937 Palestinians were killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on 7 October 2023, while 171,192 others were wounded.
