LDA seals 52 properties

LAHORE: In an action against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulters, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed 52 properties across various schemes and LDA-controlled areas. According to the LDA, its town planning wing carried out the operation on the directives of LDA DG Tahir Farooq. The operations were conducted in several locations, including Gulberg, Faisal Town, Gulshan Ravi, Allama Iqbal Town, and Mustafa Town. Specifically, 16 properties in Gulberg and Faisal Town, as well as 10 in Gulshan Ravi, were sealed due to illegal commercial usage and non-payment of commercial fees. Additionally, 26 properties in Allama Iqbal Town and Mustafa Town were also sealed during the recovery operation. The sealed properties encompass a range of businesses, including private schools, clinics, pharmacies, auto workshops, showrooms, restaurants, salons, food points, grocery stores, shops, and offices.
