The Kerala government will soon file an appeal against the 2017 actress assault case verdict. The state plans to challenge both the acquittal of actor Dileep and the 20-year sentences awarded to six convicts. Special Public Prosecutor V. Aja Kumar stated the appeal will be filed after the Kerala High Court's Christmas vacation.
