US poll shows republican supporters question Israel as US ally

US poll shows republican supporters question Israel as US ally American right-wing organisation Turning Point USA (TPUSA) released findings from its poll, revealing that 13.3 per cent of its supporters said that Israel is "not an ally" of the US. According to the straw poll, of the nearly 87 per cent who deemed Israel as an ally, 53.4 per cent described Israel as "one of many" allies, while 33.3 percent described it as "top ally". TPUSA is an American nonprofit organisation that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college, and university campuses and has traditionally been formed by Republican supporters. "The poll asked a question about how attendees view Israel. Despite a lot of noise online (and some on-stage), only 13 percent believe that Israel is not an ally of the United States," said Charlie Kirk Show producer Blake Neff.
