A doctor at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital has been suspended after a video of him assaulting a patient surfaced. The state government has formed a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the incident. The patient's relative alleged the doctor restrained the patient during the assault. The doctor has been directed to report to the Directorate of Medical Education headquarters.
