Kicked it! Iranian athlete attempts to break world record for most 'Keepy Uppies' on treadmill in 30 seconds

"Iranian athlete Mohammad Fahraji attempted to break the Guinness World Record for most 'Keepy Uppies' on a treadmill in Tehran on Monday. Footage shows Fahraji performing the attempt, along with scenes from his training sessions ahead of the challenge. "I have been training professionally for about 12 years. I trained for around five hours a day to prepare for this record," Fahraji remarked. "It was extremely demanding because of the high treadmill speed. I had to repeat the process many times through trial and error, but thankfully, I was able to achieve the record in the end," he continued. Hadi Rezaei, Iran's official representative for world records, praised the athlete for his efforts, adding that the Guinness organisation has yet to certify the attempt. "The one-minute records belong to Iranians. The 30-second category previously had a Guinness benchmark of 75 touches, and today Mr. Mohammad Hossein Fahraji successfully registered 78 touches," he said. "The documentation has been prepared and will be submitted to Guinness World Records as soon as possible," he added. 'Keepy Uppies' on a treadmill involves keeping a ball airborne for as long as possible using only the feet or head, without hand contact, combining ball control, balance, and physical endurance."
