MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Tuesday said that the Forbes Park property of resigned Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co had a “five-story basement” under construction for purposes of money stash, an allegation his camp has denied. Remulla said this information was gleaned from their application in village associations and even building permits. “Yes, our initial investigation showed that the house being constructed by Zaldy Co has a five-story basement,” Remulla said in a press conference.  Remulla said that the construction was halted due to Co’s ordeal.
