The number of births was 11,584 lower than that of deaths in Finland in January-November period, according to Statistics Finland. There were 42,247 births and 53,831 deaths in the eleven months of this year. Country´s population was 5,656,394 at the end of November 2025. During January-November Finland's population, however, increased by 20,423 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad. The number of immigrants was 32,799 higher than that of emigrants. There were 46,856 immigrants and 14,057 emigrants in January-November 2025.
