Unemployment in Finland continued to rise in November, reaching a trend-based rate of 10.6%, according to data from Statistics Finland. The figure is 0.2 percentage points higher than in October and 1.7 percentage points above the level recorded in November 2024. The labour force survey shows that both male and female unemployment increased over the past year. There were 34,000 more unemployed men and 16,000 more unemployed women than twelve months earlier.
