Saudi Arabia says STC military moves in Hadramout, al-Mahra escalatory, done unilaterally

Saudi Arabia said military movements carried out by Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the governorates of Hadramout and al-Mahra were unilateral and done without the approval of the Presidential Leadership Council or coordination with the Saudi-led coalition, resulting in what it described as an unjustified escalation.In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Kingdom said the moves harmed the interests of the Yemeni people, as well as the southern cause and the coalition’s efforts.For more news on Saudi Arabia, visit our dedicated page.Saudi Arabia said it has prioritized preserving unity throughout the recent developments and exerted every effort to reach peaceful solutions to resolve the situation in the two governorates, SPA reported. The Kingdom said it coordinated with the United Arab Emirates, the president of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Yemeni government to contain the situation. As part of those efforts, a joint Saudi-Emirati
