This year’s VRT fundraiser, De Warmste Week, that concluded yesterday, raised €9,033,435 for charity. That’s the highest amount since 2019. The proceeds will go to 220 different projects that support people with invisible illnesses, the theme of this year's edition that was staged in the eastern city of Genk (Limburg). Members of the public organised no fewer than 6,278 fundraising activities. One project, a play farm at the Pulderbos rehabilitation centre, has already been completed.
